Happy xmas

Happy Xmas!

After a long and especially deserved break we are back in business.

As part of our project we have been tasked with writing a report on the planning process and overall project life cycle. Making a zombie short isn’t all fun and games.

At our last meeting we settled on a overall plot for the film as well as some edgy and chilling scenes to shoot as well as a basic storyboard. This meeting tonight was a little different. We thought we’d put our resources to better use and used online messaging to keep in contact as a group. Skype was the key to this. We spent almost an hour discussing what sections of the report we would each have to complete as well as what we would encorporate into them.

Besides some very heavy mic problems and the occasional interruption from an annoying mother the meeting went well. Something that took us a few days to knuckle down and do was done in less then an hour when we finally got round to doing it and I personally have a bit more restored confidence in us and the project. The report is probably the biggest hump we have to get over and living far apart makes it tougher. But we are rested, motivated and back in business. Have a good new year to you all! Catch the first teaser trailer for our untitled film online on January 20th. Bye! Chris

Storyboard meeting

We had a group meeting last week to decide how the final storyboard would look like. The meeting was definitely very beneficial and some progress was made regarding the storyboard, however, some problems came along and we still have to think about the ending as we have several ideas for it. We have the basic storyboard now, but we still need to add some extra information, mostly in the climax. We also started throwing some ideas for the website, we came up the the basic layout but still need to think about the colors. We feel we are falling a bit behind but we are positive about our project and everyone is very excited about it so we are all willing to step up and work harder to reach the milestones and be ready to do a complete and clear presentation in January.
